I’m just setting up a new hard disk with a fresh install of operating system and all software I’m using on another Mac. However, SketchUp will not download. It gets to about 18MB then stalls completely. Is there a problem with the download server or is it a problem with my machine, which I doubt as I have already downloaded and installed over 1.5GB of software.

If there is an issue with the downloader, then I’m sure the solution will be to wait a little bit and try again. They’ll certainly get that working again.
There’s an alternative site which hosts previous versions, but it probably links to the very same server so you might end up with the same results. Download All | SketchUp.
Try to download during off peak hours.
Not sure where Trimble’s server is, but if it’s in Colorado or California, it will be 7 or 8 hours behind you (if you are in France.) Try it early morning breakfast time in France, should be late night 11…12pm western US.

freight train even though I have a really slow internet connection. Many
