I am locked out of my files and can't see anything

I am locked out of my files for some strange reason. I am the only registered user, yet it says someone has locked the file. Even when I open the read only file, I see nothing. I have been working on this drawing for nearly a month and now I see nothing. I am supposed to share this design with my client very soon and am now feeling quite anxious and frustrated. I put in two tickets but no one seems to be in any hurry to get back to me. Please help.

On Windows can happen that other instance of SketchUp is still running (or does not ended properly) and the file was opened that instance.
Try to restart your computer.

Anyway in a read only version you still need to be able to see what is inside, unless it is corrupted…
If you share your file here, someone can check if it still okay or not.

This can also happen if you are saving your models directly to a cloud service like Dropbox or Google Drive, or a cloud-synced folder.
