Have you been keeping your Maintenance and Support up to date or did you let it lapse? Go to the License Manager and enter your license info. It will tell you what it will cost to renew your support and upgrade.

Lack of investment in the product? You make me laugh. Are you talking about SketchUp? Trimble has invested more into the development of SketchUp and LayOut in the last two years than Google ever did in the entire time they owned it.
