I’m just getting started with the free Sketchup version but I already turned into some trouble.
I tried to draw my home just in 2D but it doesn’t seem to register all rooms. A lot of rooms are greyed out and i can not click on them or do anything with them. I’m not planning on using any 3D functions. It’s only to make a 2D plan.
The loops you have drawn that show the background colour are empty, without a face. That is either because there are small gaps in the outline somewhere so that they are not closed, or then they are not coplanar, that is, on the same 3D plane.
