How to go from a shell into a printable object

I am trying to 3d print this model: Vehicles - 1963 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Sting Ray Split Window Coupé | 3D Warehouse
But because the hood is just a shell (non manifold) i cant 3D print it, the rest is fine.
It is the first time i am working with sketch up because i could only find that corvette in the 3d warehouse.
I think it might solve it by closing the front up but i really don’t know how and i need this finished asap.
If you have sugestions or if you want to do it for me i would really apreciate it.

Just out of curiosity, what’s the rush?

a friend of mine loves corvettes and has one of these and his birthday is coming up in a week so i need it soon because i still want to paint it.
