Have you tried opening it with SketchUp 2026? Your profile lists a version of SketchUp license that doesn’t exist. Are you using a cr acked version of SketchUp?

According to your forum profile, you are using Sketchup 2023 with a classic license. That is not legal. Right?
If so, it is not nice to ask for help on the forum of the owner of your stolen software.

- You did not gave a proper permission to the file you shared.
- Being a student does not entitle someone to use illegal software. Sketchup has a free version that can be run in a web browser. SketchUp for Web | SketchUp Help
Using legal software, you’ll have a better chance of not corrupting the file.

The file cannot be recovered. Packaged in a zip file, it became 69kB size, which suggests that it contains mostly zeros, not worth further processing.
i have a copy of .skb here. is there anything i can do just to recover this file?
rename it to .skp and try opening that.

At this point it looks like you should give up on this file. Get a legal copy of SketchUp and then make the model again.
You kind of deserve what you got using SketchUp illegally.
