I created this helix and I want to skin it, but I can’t figure out how to do it with skin contours.

Extrude Edges by Rails from TIG’s Extrude Tools makes quick work of it.
If you don’t already have it you can get it from Sketchucation.

I erased the two short connecting edges and used “Loft by Spline” in Curviloft.
