I have an issue about sketchup 2024, it’s my first time using sketchup 2024 because back then i use older version and there is nothing wrong with the tools etc. But i’m facing the problem about how to still display another drawing in the background while i’m editing certain component? I want to edit the column without removing the wall because i need the wall as reference.
hello,
go to view > component edit > hide rest of model
there’s also an option to hide similar components.
I personally added a shortcut to both of them to quickly toggle (window > preferences > shortcuts)

no problem, for your information, this is not 2024-specific and that’s how sketchup has been working for… well, for ever I think

I’ll second @paul.millet 's thing about adding a keyboard shortcut for that. It’s extremely useful.
