How to customize edge color on specific objects

Hello! I am utilizing SketchUp and Layout for a remodel project I’m working on for a client and would like specific objects (such as a light switch for example) to have certain color edges for elevations. I essentially need all electrical (lighting, switch plates, etc.) to be white with blue edges and all plumbing (faucets, drains, etc) to be white with red edges. I have built out a majority of these object or in some instances taken them from the 3D Warehouse. I know you can change the edge settings under the style tab in Sketchup but don’t want the appearance of the overall model to change. I am currently using the Hidden Line style for elevations which is of my clients choosing and would rather not switch it up much if I don’t have to. I have materials and textures applied to the model and this style shows everything in black and white for the scenes I want it to. In doing research I see there might be a line style override feature in layout, but I cannot figure out how to isolate changing the edge color for just the object I want and not the overall model. PLEASE HELP!

I would give all the electrical objects a tag (or split them up into tags by switches, outlets, etc.) and then assign the desired color to the tag(s) in LayOut. You can also adjust the line scale for the tag if needed in LayOut.
