Oh yes, there is one in my drawer too, forgot it. Yours has a more “steampunk” look than mine. Beautiful. They were awfully expensive.

AHHH the good ole days! I say I miss them but I still be 90% of my work on the table.
Ha! With that one there is no question whether the ‘segments’ of the ellipse are all equal.
The HM are my dad’s initials:
it’s option-0 (zero) for º
and shift-option-O (the letter) for Ø
Ahhhh! Yes, it’s sweet to remember. Thank you all!
Or:
Åhhhh, -as we would say here being Danes!
And thanks for ° and refreshing the alt-options.
About the Ø: (which of course I have plenty of, 2 actually on this keyboard…)
I would any time prefer the smaller version ø.
See pict. Almost first basics I learned in engineering. Also it’s not so dominant looking.
(but probably not Standard either)
OK. And by some cosmic coincidence/interfering (maybe not?)
it’s ø: Alt+0248 , and ° as we know now is Alt+248.
That’s easy, right ? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Looks better in SU too I think.
Cheers
