How to create a curved radius egde on a angled surface

learning to model a fairly basic shape, a rectangle/cube, but the top side of the cube is a angled surface. The 2 side are perpendicular, so creating a radius edge is easy for that, but the top edge is on a angle, so if i extrude the radius it stops at the lowest point of the angle.

If i try to manually extend the edges and remove the boundary lines, the surfaces get detected as well.

Not sure how to insert a image on this post, because a picture is worth a thousand words.

So how do i create a radius edge, that extends through the angled top edge?

Thx

You can just drag an image to a reply, or the sketchup model would be better.

Do you want to do something like that?

Users with no posts or only one or two were limited to one picture they could add, this information should appear in the window where you write the message.

Francisquitof,
Yes, essentially. In my scenario, only the side edge had the radius, but yes thats what i dont know how to do.

Thanks!

It is possible to do it with native tools, I did it just to try and it took me like 20 mins just one corner but you can do all the corners in 3 seconds using plugins like bevel from mindsight studios or round corner and fredo corner from Fredo6. I suggest you to install Bevel it gives you a free trial period like FRedo´s ones but you must install sketchucation store plugin and Fredo6 Library to be able to use his plugins.

Something like this.

Or the whole side.

Or if you want a curved shape.

Here are some images of a way of doing it with native tools.

How that is helpful?

yes, i see the idea behind it, basically your making mulitple facets… the hide the lines so it looks seemless.

Thanks

Now this is useful…

je ne vois toujours pas ce que tes images essaient de montrer… on alterne entre un découpage progressif au bord des faces, puis seulement les quarts de ronds qui se rencontrent, puis les mêmes quarts de ronds mais il manque des morceaux… et le résultat final ?

??

Entschuldigung, ich verstehe nicht.
