How to copy component in free web version

I’m doing the Sketchup Fundamentals #3 using the Free Web Version. When I try to copy a component, holding the control key does not do anything. the component is just moved. Is there another trick I need to use?

Don’t hold crtl, just tap it, it is a toggle.
