How do you add more wood colors to the color pallet

I would like to add a dark color wood to my pallet. Almost black or dark walnut

You can add your own textures from images of wood that you’ve taken or found by importing the image as a texture and applying it to a face. You might also have a look in the 3D Warehouse and see if there are some wood grain materials that might be satisfactory.
