How do I eliminate the small individual extension popup windows (mac)
When I start SU all the extensions have a small window for easy access popup. I just close them! But I’m tired of that. There must be a setting somewhere?

Thanks for all your assistance - I found how to turn them off. Saved and quit and every time I open sketchup 2018 they open back up! I looked at the individual extensions for the options to open the tool palette, could not find anything.

nothing you can do :
to the best of my knowledge the developer behind the extension have to make the toolbars remember their status. open or closed.
some devs do it right, some don’t, or they don’t know (maybe they’re on PC only) therefore the toolbar pop ups at launch.
2 solutions, accept it and move them somewhere they won’t be annoying
or turn them off when not needed.
Architexture does this, and for this reason, I turn it off by default.
@ateliernab That’s strange. Shouldn’t SketchUp remember the state of those windows itself? It seems like an oversight on the part of the SketchUp developers. Can they fix it?

No. Other extension authors have dealt with this so their extension toolbars don’t display if the user doesn’t want them to.
This isn’t a SketchUp bug. Contact the authors of the extensions.

Gosh. Don’t blame other developers for the SketchUp omissions.
The more I use SketchUp the more I understand why so many people complain about it.
So you’d rather blame the wrong people.
Why is it that other extensions don’t do this? If it was a bug in SketchUp all of the toolbars for all of the installed extensions would show up every time SketchUp is opened. That doesn’t happen, though.
@DaveR Gosh. Don’t you realize that it’s a poor approach to design software (SketchUp) that leads to these kind of UI/UX issues?
Are you a developer? I agree it’s annoying that some extensions tools bars pop up every time I launch sketchup but it has nothing to do with sketchup developers but extensions developers.
There’s no perfect software, people who complain about everything will complain about any other software, if you visit forums of other softwares you’ll find a lot of people complaining as well.
I know sketchup has some bugs that must be fixed but this isn’t something they have control over.
