Im trying to make this row of tiles a material by combining textures (right click make unique texture, then I should be able to select all to combine textures) but no matter what i do it wont give me the option.
You can set you camera to Parallel Projection, then to Top View so you’re looking straight down…zoom in as needed…export to JPG or PNG. In a photo editor, crop in to the boundary of the material. Import into SketchUp. Explode and paste away!
Klacy, If you used the plugin shown in the printscreen to create your brick geometry, then you must explode all the groups/components generated by this plugin until you only have raw geometry to run the combine texture command.
If you select only the faces, the combine textures option should be available (select all geometry, the right click, chose Select then deselect edges = all faces will remain selected)
Edit: Combine Texture also works when edges are selected.
Yep, that’s why I asked to see the model as it appears in the OP that they used Plywood, which is a texture and I checked and it does work. So curious to see what the issue is.
Regarding material vs texture, OK must have at least one texture in order to combine be available. On SU24 if you have one material selected you have the option to Make Unique texture (odd because is not texture) and use the combine option., this can no longer be done on SU25
Please select just the parts you are trying to work with, copy and paste it into a new model instance, save that and attach it to a reply here.
From what you have uploaded it appears as if the Grout is not a texture but it isn’t clear what you have using the viewer link you shared.
Oh and most importantly the materials and textures need to be in the same plane, you have a 3d object, that won’t give you the combine textures option.
