How do I add an environment in Sketchup GO?

I’m trialing Sketchup GO and I cannot find a way to add an environment or Photoreal Materials to a project.

I’ve searched but no success.

Where do I download them from?

I cannot find them in the 3D warehouse.

Thanks

Jeff

Those features are not implemented in the web versions of SketchUp. You would need the Desktop version to get those features.

If the graphics card shown in your profile is correct, you will likely have difficulty with the Photoreal materials in the desktop version.

BTW, please correct your forum profile. There is no Free Plan of SketchUp 2024.

According to the pricing page there is.

Kudos for correcting your profile. I am pinging @Danimaupin . It makes a difference when you specified the ipad version of GO.

SketchUp for iPad does include Environments and realistic materials. The web based versions do not.

Thanks for updating your forum profile.

I’m actually using the web version of GO on my PC

So no environments or realistic materials. You would need the desktop version and a suitable discrete graphics card. An integrated GPU such as you list in your profile won’t be adequate.

OK thanks everyone.

Not sure why that info was left out in the pricing info but that was an important detail.

I agree that they should clarify the differences between SketchUp for Web and SketchUp for iPad since there are significant ones.

Maybe @Missa_g can forward to the team that is responsible for the website.

Thanks for the feedback folks. I’ve passed this along and we will look into it.
