Good point (I hadn’t noticed that), a feature where SketchUp for Web beats SketchUp desktop! (even if web version doesn’t list .zip, it works when you drop it).

I had this same issue in Sketchup Go (web) version: importing a .dae file exported from Polycam, did not include the textures and the faces were all black. Reading this thread helped me but the solution was simple: import the whole zip file from the Polycam export; do not unzip the file and try to import the dae file. The zip file contained the dae file and the textures in a sub-folder. importing the zip file was easier, faster, and worked as expected.
