Hidden geometry

After compressing and changing the extension to .rbz, one of two things:

  • If I go to SU/Preferences/Extensions/Install, it is grayed-out and I cannot select;
  • If I decompress the .zip file with the .rbz extension, it reverts to .bz.

This is the first extension I’ve tried to install.

For whatever reason, you didn’t compress it to a zip file correctly, if at all.

Download this file and try installing it with that.

unhide_all.rbz (500 Bytes)

It’s good to learn how to install extensions and plugins but keep in mind, this one will do nothing to sort out the problem you were having with the molding.

Thanks Dave for all of the help you’ve given me.

@DaveR, thank you for your advices, you saved my life today

In a similar problem, if you can’t see geometry that is hidden within a group, but you don’t know which group it is: Use the Outliner tab and go through all the groups- open each one of the (+) boxes. Eventually you should find a group where the inner group name is italicized and grey. Click on that and it should open up a bounding box that appears empty. Inside the model, click ‘unhide’ that should reveal what’s been hidden.
