Help pleaseeee

I’m trying to clean up your SketchUp model file to make it usable. It’s kind of a mess with layers used incorrectly and a lack of grouping.

There are some things like the bushes near the doors that have loads of geometry that needs to be rendered but they don’t provide mush value. You would be better off to replace them with simple plan view bushes.

Fixed the incorrect use of layers:

Cleaned up the model.

this is how I got the project,I actually hiden the second floor of the building so I can see the firts floor.I had to add the textures and decorate it,but I also have to make the tehnical part.

It’s unfortunate that they gave you such an awful model to start with.

2 hours would probably not be enough. with about 39 million edges and about 21 million faces it is enormous for such a simple plan. The excess geometry resides mostly in the upholstery of your chair and sofa components that are too detailed to be used en masse. You should use simplified versions instead, and create your possible photorealistic renders from models that only show the room that you need to render. This for a start.

As Anssi wrote, it’s going to take a long time to get all those edges rendered as vector lines. There is too much complexity in your model with no benefit.

Even after cleaning the model there are still nearly 37 million edges and 20 million faces. Look at the number of component instances and groups.

The statistics show 27 images. What are those used for? Can they be eliminated?

Also notice there are duplicated materials. They just bog down the model.

I know that too. They wanted me to show as much detail as possible, beacuse I study interior design. That was the main reason I keept them in my plan.

Well in the group section I hiden most of the plants that coverd the whole building, maybe that is a reason why there are so many faces.

No, it is not only the chairs. Everything is too detailed. Look at the knobs on the ranges in the kitchen:

It is all modeled!
I am almost sure that this was not originally modeled in SketchUp.
Also, beware if you have to modify this in any way. The building part (thankfully that is not too detailed) is all raw geometry, no components or even groups there.

Nope, I imported the from 3D Warehouse.

That’s some of it. As Anssi points out, there’s way too much detail in the objects you’ve added. The oven knob is just one example.Even if you are using this to make nice renders of the rooms you don’t need the text on the knobs. No one will be able to see it in the image anyway.

In my cleaning I have been able to get the SketchUp model down to below 85 Mb but there’s still a lot to do. Unfortunately I can’t spend all day today on your project. I have work I have to get done, too.

That doesn’t mean it was created in SketchUp. Components that you get from the 3D Warehouse often need to be edited to reduce detail. That should be done before you insert the component into your model.

Thank you so so much for your help! I appreciated everything!
Is there any link from where I can download the changes you made?
Also what was the issue with the yellow color in Layout?

That is something I didn’t see on my screen. Try switching the style in the SketchUp view to Hidden Line. While the model is as it is, I wouldn’t try switching to Vector rendering.

I’ll see if I can upload it. I started working on the SketchUp file first to make sure the yellow wasn’t coming from there. I haven’t gotten to trying the export.

By the way, I did this yesterday.

I think I will leave it as a raster

It is also a bit more responsive to work with if you switch the Display Resolution to Low in the Document Setup >Paper dialog. You can leave the Output resolution to High.

I didn’t see it eighter until I export the file to PDF than it pops-up.

This is what I get when I export your LayOut file unchanged to PDF:
test.pdf (635.8 KB)

Yes that is exaclty what I get

How do I make it white?

Now I am a bit baffled. I don’t see any yellow on my screen. This is how I see the PDF I posted:
