You are encountering SketchUp’s small edge tolerance: very small edges can exist in a model, but SketchUp will “clean them up” when you first create them if they are very short. sacled it up, but problem persists , after making the small triangle on face when i try to select the profile the profile is broken into many many pieces, please help out

before drwing that small triangle i am able to select the profile easily @mihai.s

thanks for all the assistance, I was able to model it,

but i have to make the ends a bit pointy like this, is it possible to make changes in same model or have to make new one

You’ve just learned how to create this one, so if you want a slightly modified one, it’s a good idea to create it from scratch to practice what you’ve learned.
