I have 2018 versions of both Auto CAD and Sketchup Pro. When i import my DWG file it comes up with an Alert window stating that the import has failed but doesn’t give a reason why. I have checked that the file doesn’t contain any unsupported features but still no luck. please can someone help?
Try saving your dwg as an earlier version, I can’t remember off hand the one that people usually recommend.

SketchUp’s DWG importer isn’t set up for AutoCAD 2018 files. As Box indicates, export/save the DWG as an older version and you should be able to import it just fine.
