I can change the color of the bounding box(outline) but the hatch inside stays Black and is always black. Say i want Red ,HOW.
Do you mean a different edge style?
See ‘Edges > Color: by material’ after they have been painted.
Need more information. What hatch pattern are you referring to? Is this a material in SketchUp? Share a file that shows what you are trying to change.
You cannot change that in LayOut unless you modify or make your own PNG file.
There is a very recent thread here where @DaveR showed another user how to do it.
