Guide Lines hidden - Looking for help

Hi everyone, I teach SketchUp as part of a larger course. One of the students is having an issue I would like some help with. The course is delivered remotely, and she is studying from home (not a classroom) and the only thing I know is she is using a MAC

She is a beginner and trying to draw guidelines but they are not appearing on her Model. I have sent her the instructions on how to make them visible using these methods:
1.View Menu
2. Styles Tray- Edit- Modelling

Neither have worked. I asked her to send me the file, and when I opened it on my own computer, I could see all of the guidelines she has been drawing.

I haven’t seen this before and was hoping for some help or advice ?

send her to the preferences, then graphics, and switch to the classic engine.
it’s likely that her machine has trouble supporting the new one.

looks like that, but with a mac interface.
