There was a time when we could go into Google Earth within the SketchUp platform and import any geo location for tracing the footprint of buildings. Is that a feature that is still available? I can not seem to locate it. Thanks for the help.
It hasn’t used Google Earth for years. Up until recently the Add Location feature used Google Maps and for a week or so you’ll still be able to get the Google Maps location images but soon Google will be removing the access so the location data will come from Digital Globe.
You can add location by clicking on the hamburger menu icon in the upper left corner and then the Add Location button.
