Frosted or Fritted Glass Textures?

Has anyone made or found a good frosted glass texture, at least better than what comes with SketchUp? I’m thinking a mixtue of white and transparent pixels in Photoshop brought in as PNG might be effective?

Kind of? I used to have lots of speckle textures in PS but I just scratched together one in GIMP.

A variably transparent texture isn’t going to simulate diffusion/blurring, though.

You can use a Concrete (or asphalt, brick, shingles, whatever suits you) texture then edit it and lower its opacity.
