Free trial for Pro on IPad Pro?

Hello. I’m new to Sketch Up but used to draw in Vector Works. Is there a way to get a free trial on Pro before signing up to the full subscription.
I just want to navigate, particularly with a the 2D aspect

Hep and advice please :folded_hands:

I think this link will get you what you want :+1:

Download SketchUp | Free Trial of 3D Modeling Software | SketchUp

Best of luck with it.

Note that Pro is a subscription level, not a version of SketchUp. You can trial SketchUp for iPad on an iPad but you can’t run SketchUp for Desktop on an iPad.

Thank you, I’m keen on Pro for the 2D format. Is there a 2D in the SketchUp free trial do you know?

Thank you. This is helpful

Although you can draw in 2D in SketchUp it is a 3D modeler, not a 2D drawing program. There are 2D drawing applications out there iIf all you are interested in is making 2D drawings.

The 7-day trial of SketchUp isn’t any different than the paid subscription.

Maybe you could describe more clearly what you really want. As I told you, SketchUp Pro is a subscription level, not a version of SketchUp. See this for a comparison of the subscription plans.

Sketchup for iPad, in my opinion, can’t be the only tool for professional work specially if you want to make 2D documentation. The desktop version includes LayOut which is the perfect tandem with sketchup. On layout you can create 2D floor plans, elevations, sections or even perspectives out of a 3D model from sketchup. You can use sketchup or layout to make 2D drawings directly, but they’re not meant for that, there are better and cheaper solutions for that, I recommend Qcad Pro or Draftsight for 2D drafting.
