FORMATO DE ARCHIVO INESPERADO. No puedo abrir archivo

Estoy intentando abrir un par de archivos de sketchup que fueron borrados del disco por error y posteriormente recuperados con una aplicación para este fin.

Pero ahora al intentar abrirlos me aparece una ventana emergente que dice: FORMATO DE ARCHIVO INESPERADO. Me parece que el archivo fue creado en sketchup pro 2024.

Leyendo algunos comentarios ví que a otras personas les aparece la misma ventana emergente y han podido recuperar sus archivos.

Alguien me podría ayudar a intentar recuperar el archivo que adjunto a este mensaje
De antemano agradezco su ayuda.

neither will open in SU25

I don’t see massive chunks of zeroes in them, one is from 18, the other 19, but at least they’re full of data. maybe @colin can salvage something ?

I am trying to open a couple of sketchup files that were erased from the album by mistake and subsequently recovered with an application for this purpose.

oh wait, this is not a good sign. when recovery application re-make the files, it doesn’t mean they re-make it the right way…

it’s like taking a book, separating all the pages.
then, the software takes time gathering all the pages and piling them.

maybe a couple of pages are missing. maybe some are in the wrong position, and other are flipped / upside down.

it looks like you have the right book. you can read the words. most chapters make sense, but overall, the story does not.

Very clear your explanation. I hope it could be possible to recover at least part of the file.

As a reference, I used DISK DRILL to recover the files. In fact the app recovered much more other sketchup files. Those files do show a preview image of the 3d sketchup models, but any of them it´s possible to open in sketchup
