I was wondering when i make a profile (ex baseboard trim) and add it to a group, I select the Path I want the trim to follow, but the follow me tool doesn’t work with a grouped profile. It only seems to work if I dont group the image. Why is this?
Part of the point of putting the geometry in a group is to prevent it from being modified unless the group is opened for editing. The Follow Me tool is being consistent with the other tools. You could put the path inside the group with the profile or you could select the path, get Follow Me, right click on the group, choose Edit Group and then click on the face of the profile.
