Fix the speed of Layout

LAYOUT is too slow to use in a professional setting - any advice?

Automatic down-sampling of imported images (or manual setting of resolution per image as a menu or right click option) would be fantastic and super useful. I like to include real world photos in my docs and they become frustratingly slow. While I’m at it I’ll mention again (sigh) my desire for the addition of a “display as raster-output as vector” option to the viewport settings. or a “change all viewports to vector “ setting or option to globally output an entire document with viewports render…

Bringing Layout up to date

Ugh, I happen to be banging my head against Layout’s mind numbing slowness this morning, staring at the beachball for 30 seconds at a time just trying to switch between pages, we all know the drill. A potential speed workaround occurs to me… How about an option either in SketchUp Model viewport rendering drop down, or in the export options dialogue to export all viewports as Vector or Hybrid, without changing the display rendering? I need to export in Vector, but if I render the working file…
