do we need to save 17 files as 16 in order to open in 16 or are the file types compatible?
back saving is always necessary for newer versions of SU opening in older versions…

Thanks… that’s what I figured. I have students who will download 17 but we currently have 16 in our studios and won’t be able to upgrade until spring due to IT timing.
