Feature request - push/pull a face that is not facing you

I made a similar request for a new selection method based on what BricsCAD has(had)

Select next group underneath another group

I was going to type a long post but honestly This video for BricsCAD Shape shows it well. Go to the 1 min mark and you can see how pressing tab lets you select faces which are underneath the one in front. Kind of does what you are asking as once the face is selected through the front face then the push pull can be used.
