Feature request: Lock Plan View (Parallel Projection)

Hi,
I’d really love an option in SketchUp for iPad to lock the camera when working in plan view with parallel projection. At the moment, it’s easy to accidentally rotate or zoom out of place with finger gestures.

A simple “lock view” toggle (or even a lock orbit/zoom option) would make drawing in 2D plan view much smoother on iPad.

I know we can save a Scene as a workaround, but it would be great to have this as a built-in feature.

@JG01 I can definitely see the value of locking the view in this way, thanks for the suggestion. Are you interested in just locking to certain axes (top, front, side, etc) or being able to lock to any given plane?
