A few requests with regards to dimensions:

  • Empty brackets (<>) as with AutoCAD still displays the actual dimension: usefull when you want to add a prefix or suffix to the dimension, i.e. “Column = <>”, or “Bolt spacing = <>mm C/C”

  • Rounding of dimensions: setting a specific increment for rounding up/down of dimensions; nobody (in Namibia or Africa for that matter) can build accurate to 1mm. If the rounding can be set to the nearest 5mm, 10mm, etc. (user input) it would make life a lot easier.

The standard in most metric countries is to dimension to the millimeter. Builders know how to deal with them, the actual tolerances are nowhere that tight. The problem with rounding is that dimensions stop adding up.
