Face problem

Hello everyone,

I would like to create a surface of these lines which are not on the same plane. Do you know how I can do it? a plugin maybe?

Thank you !

I would use Fredo6’s Curviloft or TIG’s Extrusion Tools to create the surfaces. They will be more than one face because the edges are not coplanar.

Both extensions are available from Sketchucation.

As a learning exercise, I would recommend at least once “stitching” the outline edges by drawing diagonal edges across between their endpoints to create a surface made up of triangles. Ultimately that’s all the extensions do, just much faster. It can be very useful to understand that there is no magic taking place!

Also @athos.jerome,
Learn about the proper use of Layers (now called Tags) in SketchUp
The model you shared has raw geometry assigned to a Layer other than Default Layer 0.
Doing so is the path to modeling mayhem.

SoapSkinBubble works pretty easily here.
