i have now installed the extension, but when i pull it up in the extentions panel it says “UNSIGNED”. how do i fix that.

“Unsigned” isn’t a thing a user can fix but it also isn’t a problem unless you set the loading permissions too strict.
Unsigned means the extension author hasn’t sent it to Trimble’s developer site to get a cryptographic signature file. For the author of a large number of extensions it can be a significant hassle to do so for every new release of SketchUp, so they may lag behind or not bother. If you download the extension from a reliable site this shouldn’t be a problem.
