Exporting 3d Building into 2d for Laser

Hi

I’m new to SketchUp but I’d really like to learn how to creating 3d buildings and export in a 2d format for my laser cutter.

I’m looking to make wargaming/mod terrain just as a hobby.

Is there any easy to follow tutorials for doing this? Since I’m so new I wasn’t sure if this is possible or how easy it is to do.

It’s possible, but you’ll need a strong grasp of the fundamentals of how Sketchup works first.
