I created a Test OU to make sure the .msi file will work but I’m running into the following issue with the client PC[s].
Even Viewer:
Product: SketchUp 2017 – Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2017\ThumbsUp.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147024770. Contact your support personnel.
I am able to install SketchUp Pro '17 manually to one of the laptops but cannot seem to find out why this error? Has anyone had or know why this error pops up?
Client (laptop) specs:
Windows 7 Pro
RAM: 16GB
Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 520
CPU: Intel i5-6200U

Possibly your installer fails to install the required C++ and net framework components.

That’s what I’ve read but I’m able to install manually on that machine from the .exe file.
Also, see other posts on this forum about ThumbsUp.dll failing to register. Might be an issue with installer permissions.

Bulls eye!
I manually installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 & updated to the required .NET framework 4.5.2.
After that, it installed with no issues.
