Error message 'experiencing technical difficulties' when trying to open Sketchup with subscription

I have a current subscription but, on trying to open Sketchup and Layout, I get the following error message:
We are experiencing technical difficulties.
This device is not authorized. Please sign out and back in to continue or add a classic license.

I have a subscription that I only just renewed in March and I have signed out and back in several times and also restarted my computer but I can’t access Sketchup or Layout! I need to work, can someone please help?
