Error Loading message

I am receiving an error message just after I select ‘start using’ and prior to the opening of the main operating screen. I select ‘ok’ on the error message and then am allowed to proceed to the main operating screen. The error message reads:
Error Loading File C:/Users/Keith/AppData/Roaming/SketchUp/SketchUp2017/SketchUp/Plugins/SU_advancedcamera tools/actloader.rbe
Failed to read RBE/RBS file.

I would appreciate help rectifying the problem.
Thanks…Keith

It indicates there’s a problem with the loading of Advanced Camera tools. Go to the Extension Warehouse (Windows menu) and install a fresh copy of the extension and see if that helps.

Also, did you install SketchUp by right clicking on the installer file and selecting Run as administrator.

Haven’t a clue as to what I’m doing. I’m an older man so please
bear with me. I’m getting ready to equip a cargo van for camping and SketchUp will be a big help. I downloaded SketckUp Make 2017 but when I try to open it I receive error message “LoadLibrary failed with error 87: The parameter is incorrect.” I have installed and uninstalled it 3 times without success. Can anyone help me?

What steps exactly did you take when you installed SketchUp?

Hi Dave, thanks for the reply. I thought i followed the install instructions closely. I googled sketchup all downloads and selected english SketchUp 2017 Make for Windows (I thought it was free but I’m finding out it’s just for 30 days) The installer appeared and asked for approval of the destination folder which I clicked ok, the install took about 6 minutes. After it installed I had a SketchUp exe icon on my desktop. It was when I clicked it that the error message popped up (LoadLibrary failed with error 87: The parameter is incorrect.) and it would not open. I hope I’ve given you enough info to tell me what the heck I did wrong. I’d really like to have this program, I used to use AutoCad in my work (architectual drafting) and this program has a lot of the same commands. Thanks again, Stan

Hello @Stan

The error message indicates a problem with your graphics card driver.
Updating the graphics driver often resolves the issue.
