When drawing cabinets, it’s often desirable to divide a surface into equal portions - for doors, drawers, etc. What’s the best way to divide the face of a rectangular prism into x# equal parts?
Copy a line from one end of the prism to the other end, then type / followed by the number of divisions you want.
You can also copy the line a certain distance and type X and a number to do a linear array

Or, after you copy a line as ad_1011 says, go to Edit>Edge>Divide and type the number of divisions you want (the number will appear in the Measurements Box. You can then use run Tape Measure Tool along the divided edge; the tool will hesitate at each division point. This allows you to place guidelines on the prism.
