I have recently starting using Engineering Toolbox so I am still getting used to it. I created a custom piece using the custom tab in the Aluminum I-Beam function. I am not sure how to insert this into Sketchup though. The pre-filled ones have an insert button which makes it easy peesy. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
For the Custom, fill in the depth, width and thickness and then click on the “custom” button to insert the beam. It will be inserted at the axes origin. You can then move and rotate it as with any other geometry.
