Hello, once I download and already created deck from the 3D warehouse how do I edit the size, etc., to what is needed? I am NEW to SketchUp. Any input is appreciated!

The object will import into you SketchUp model as a component. You can open the component for editing in the same way you would edit a group or component you made and then make the required changes. Exactly how to make the required changes will depend on what the object is, how it was originally modeled, and what changes you need to make.
Best would be to first learn to use SketchUp by starting with the tutorials at learn.sketchup.com
