Id like to draw a centrifugal compressor: Centrifugal compressor - Wikipedia (to clarify im looking to draw on a cone plane). Then come the weird ass blades, any chance I could draw 3 lines, and use follow me to create a line that follows all of the profiles?
Follow me tool will extrude a profile following one line, edge etc. and as such it is not adaptive. If my memory is working the vanes are involutes starting relative tall at root and then progressively shorter vs angle.
There are two plugins you probably would want to have, curve maker drawmetal.com is coming soon and TIG’s Extrude tool set SketchUp Plugins | PluginStore | SketchUcation.
