Drawing on a cone

Id like to draw a centrifugal compressor: Centrifugal compressor - Wikipedia (to clarify im looking to draw on a cone plane). Then come the weird ass blades, any chance I could draw 3 lines, and use follow me to create a line that follows all of the profiles?

Follow me tool will extrude a profile following one line, edge etc. and as such it is not adaptive. If my memory is working the vanes are involutes starting relative tall at root and then progressively shorter vs angle.
There are two plugins you probably would want to have, curve maker drawmetal.com is coming soon and TIG’s Extrude tool set SketchUp Plugins | PluginStore | SketchUcation. If you can get cross sections vs angel then the lofting like airfoil may work also. See Fredo’s tool Curivloft tool SketchUp Plugins | PluginStore | SketchUcation

This appears to be the better way for drawing on cone.
