Disengaging the materials palette from the tray

#1

Is this possible. Cannot seem to set it to the side.

#2

You could remove it from the Default Tray and place it on a tray of it’s own.

Go to Window>Default Tray. Uncheck Materials from that menu.

Then go to Window>New Tray. Give it a name “Materials” and check Materials. Click Add.

You should now have a Materials Tray of its own that can be floated around or docked. Note that “Dialogs” such as Materials/Entity Info/Styles etc can only reside on one tray at a time.

Hope that helps.
