Is there a way to control the dimensional text offset? (as in the distance from the dimension baseline to the base of the dimensional text)

Do you mean between the dimension line and the bottom of the text?
If so, there isn’t a setting for that. It can be above, below or over the dimension line. You could manually move the text if you wish.
yeah… that’s it. I thought there was a way to control that distance.
