Diffusion is not working properly

I am experiencing an issue in diffusion. It doesn’t seem to really work anymore. I am working on a specific scene that was providing really good output as of January 20th but seems to refuse to work since January 24th. I opened some other models and found the same issues happening with those, I have already attempted a reinstall but it seems as if the problem is with the AI render engine. Please advise.

Hi @gabekeway thanks for the post. I just pinged our servers and ran a quick test in the web version to check that everything is up and running and it seems to be working for me. Can you describe the issue you are seeing a little more and maybe provide some screenshots or recordings of the issue? I am not an expert in diffusion but I am always happy to do what I can to help while we wait for other replies.

Here’s some saves from the scene. One shot is what I was getting before Jan 20th and the rest are what I have been getting since.

FWIW, this is using Diffusion V1.4.2 pre-release. I posted this as an issue in the project portal but haven’t had any replies nor acknowledgements from the test organizers. However, there was another test member that started a case today citing the same issue.

Ah, so it is functioning, just not producing good results. I’ll see what I can find out for you. Clearly something is not working as intended here.

Anyone getting Diffusion to work again yet? I haven’t received any updates on the repair and my version is still not working. Do I need to reinstall? Is there a link to use the browser based version while the test version is down? It’s been broken for 15 days and really need to keep moving on my project. Thanks.

Today I tried again. It still doesn’t work.

Hi there,

I am using iPad mini for my SketchUp to do stage design on the go. First time trying out, didn’t work, it says -“there was an issue in processing your request “

What can I do?

Thanks

Douglas

I have never tried using an iPad but I have gotten that message before in Diffusion. What settings and prompts were you using when you received the message? I’m not exactly sure but I believe it might have something to do with some words in the prompt. Diffusion seems to reject some commonly used words. Once, I found it refused to work when I prompted it to render a “playscape for children”. I removed the word “children”, leaving just “playscape” and it worked (though, not with great results, IMO).

If you are not using prompts then it might just be a server error and you’ll have to quit sketchup then reopen and/or update Diffusion to the latest release.

@ohsalguod, we just made some adjustments to the iPad Diffusion backend on Friday which may fix the error you were receiving. Please let us know if you are still encountering any issues with iPad Diffusion results.

I am trying to use diffusion, and I got only the popup window with “0,” and nothing happens.

It doesn’t matter what the prompt is, the image, or the file, always with the same popup window answer!
What would be the solution?
Thanks
