I wanted to project the shadow of this model from top and create the faces. But when i apply Tig’s shadow projector, sketchup hangs for a minute and then closes down. What to do?

I got it to partially work fr me.
I see an issue in the code - I’ll post an updated version in the PluginStore when I’ve resolved the issue…

It’s not the extension per se.
It’s your model.
Currently you are trying to collect the shadows of almost 10,000 faces and then consolidate them in to one simplified shadow or small collection of shadows.
Unfortunately about a quarter of the way through SketchUp chokes and crashes.
You can quickly make a simplified massing model of the built form, missing out all unimportant parts like internal stairs, screens, frames, doors, windows etc.
After all it’s only a collect of a few boxes…
This will then make quick work of casting the shadows and getting the results you want.
