Design overhang supports for 3d printing

Are there any tutorials available for designing support for overhangs for 3D printing. I cannot seem to find any.

Thanks

Robin

Normally, that is handled by the slicer software, do you want to create it manually?

What @Cotty said is right, the software will do this for you,
However if like me sometimes you need it specific you can build it manually sure. However it all depends on the printer and the material, usually you will get information on what you overhang limit etc is then work it out yourself.

I just got a Creality Ender5 pro and downloaded the Cura slicer software from their website. The software that came with the printer wouldn’t load on my Mac. I tried printing a design I had done and the printer tried to print in mid air, not good. I was hoping the slicer software would automatically build supports. Is it possible I missed something in the setup?
