Cut a Decorative Groove in a Panel

I’m designing a cabinet with flat, rectangular sides. I want to cut a decorative V-groove into the sides located maybe 2" in from each of the 4 edges. Can the Follow Me tool be used for this?

First option. I’ve hidden the back of the panel to make it easier to select the profile after getting the Follow Me tool.

It works also if the triangle is outside the panel, but centered on the path

True. Not as intuitive but yes it does.
