Curic Studio

Has anyone had luck getting the CURIC studio to work on a M1 mac with Sketchup 2022? It will not load unless I use rosetta. Seems to be in conflict with Fredo also.

As with your other question, it looks like the extension hasn’t been updated for arm64. You could watch this discussion to see if there are any updates:

I have some extensions that are not updated as well. I went into /Applications/SketchUp 2022/, and duplicated SketchUp.app. I set the duplicate to run using Rosetta, and I use that one if I need to run those extensions. The rest of the time I run the native version.

Thanks. I just did the same thing with the duplicate SketchUp version.

Greetings,

After having installed Menu Pie and other Curic extension I have some conflict issues.

Once Curic Pie Menu Uninstalled all reverts to normal.

There is no possibility to Disable the Pie Menu (Curic) because SU closes with BugSplat not saving changes.

Please advise.
Thank you in advance

PS 1
Is there any way to get email contact to a extension author (Curic)?

PS 2 Laste version of Su and Vray used (6.2)

You will need to switch Pie Menu off manually.

(1) Close SketchUp

(2) In File Explorer, navigate to %LocalAppData%/SketchUp/SketchUp 2023/SketchUp
(You can copy and paste the path above into the File Explorer breadcrumb bar.)

(3) Make a backup copy of the PrivatePreferences.json file.

(4) Then open PrivatePreferences.json with a good code editor like Notepad++ or Visual Studio Code.

(5) In the Extensions section, change the value for Curic Pie Menu extension to 0 (0 is off, 1 is on)

(6) Save the file.

(7) Reopen SketchUp

Thank you very much.

I have simply uninstalled the extension via Extension Manager.

Curic has released un update.
Hope it resolve the issue.

Best regards and once more many thanks for the new for me suggestion.
